The Building Safety Levy comes into force in October 2026. As part of the complex framework of the Building Safety Act (BSA) and its secondary legislation, it has been a challenging element for the industry to get to grips with.

The Levy will introduce new duties and obligations and everyone should be aware of what it entails and how it might affect them.

On 22nd September, Sarah Schütte will be delivering Building Safety Levy: What You Need to Know Before October 2026, a 90-minute virtual classroom seminar which will bring you up to date on the Levy. It will cover:

  • The background to the Levy: what it is and why it is being introduced
  • Key dates to diarise
  • Key legal requirements
  • Priority activities for the industry
  • Putting the Levy into context within the wider Building Safety Act framework
  • Key takeaways

This Learn Live is suitable for everyone who works in, or advises on, construction projects, or is responsible for risk management or asset management. Those involved in finance and funding, compliance, or insurance would also benefit. It will also be useful for those on the frontline of resident communications and engagement, such as property managers.
