Sustainability Disclosure Requirements & Financial Services - Get Ready for May 2024

Introduction

In November 2023, the FCA published the long-awaited policy statement PS23/16: Sustainability Disclosure Requirements and Investment Labels.

The package of measures includes an anti-greenwashing rule for all authorised firms; four ‘sustainability’ investment labels; new rules and guidance for firms marketing investment funds on the basis of their sustainability characteristics; and more stringent disclosures to consumers.

This short webinar highlights the key requirements of this detailed regulation and enables attendees to prepare for compliance with the first tranche of regulation from 31 May 2024, when the anti-greenwashing rule and guidance comes into force.
