Introduction

If you are involved in advising Limited Partnerships, then this virtual classroom seminar is for you.

The ECCTA has already radically changed the nature of the Companies House register and implemented widespread reforms relating to companies and LLPs (including identity verification for directors, people with significant control, controls surrounding registered email addresses and registered offices addresses and additional requirements designed to improve the quality and information on the register at Companies House).

Now many of the proposed changes are in force, the next set of proposed changes relate to Limited Partnerships. This session will update you as to likely reform impact, including discussing how best to prepare for the impending changes.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive course will cover the following:

  • What the government are aiming to achieve and why
  • Who will be caught by the changes to the legislation (and timing of the transitional period for existing LPs)
  • Proposed implementation dates
  • Changes to registration and filing requirements
  • Annual confirmation statements and information required to be provided by the LP (including registered office address, email address and SICs) and practical steps to take prior to filing first confirmation statement
  • Identity verification
  • Companies House additional powers and consequences of failure to comply
  • Opportunity to ask questions

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
