Jackie Sheldon

Jackie qualified and practised as a corporate solicitor at a leading City firm before moving to the North West, where she worked with two commercial firms, including Hammonds, specialising in corporate acquisitions. She has taught for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Education, and is a Certified Management and Business Educator.Jackie has co-authored Advising Effectively on the Employment Aspects of a Corporate Transaction: A Practical Guide for Junior Lawyers with Kate Shepherd, published by Law Brief Publishing in 2021, and authored A Practical Guide to Identity Verification Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, published by Law Brief Publishing in 2026.In 2026, she received two major awards: Most Engaging Postgraduate Legal and Accountancy Training Provider UK at the Corporate Vision Education and Training Awards 2026, and Legal Education Specialist of the Year – Central England at the Prestige Awards 2026/27.
