Jackie Sheldon

Jackie qualified and practised as a corporate solicitor in a large City firm before moving to the North West where she worked at two commercial firms including Hammonds where she specialised in advising on corporate acquisitions. Jackie has been teaching for over 19 years, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, has a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Education and is a Certified Management and Business Educator. Jackie has authored two text books. The first (co- authored with Kate Shepherd): 'Advising Effectively on the Employment Aspects of a Corporate Transaction - A Practical Guide for Junior Lawyers', Law Brief Publishing. She has also recently authored /A Practical Guide to Identity Verification under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, published by Law Brief Publishing (March 2026).
