Introduction

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (‘FSCS’) is the compensation fund and associated mechanism for reimbursing certain types of customers of financial services firms in the event that those firms fail to pay claims made against them.

The legal basis for the FSCS’s creation and operation are set out in Part 15 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

This new virtual classroom seminar will provide an in-depth look at the legal and regulatory framework governing the FSCS and explore how firms and their advisers interact with it in practice.

Whether you are a lawyer, compliance professional, FCA-regulated individual, or a financial services practitioner, this session will equip you with essential knowledge to understand the FSCS’s impact on your work and your clients.
