Commonhold Disputes - A Guide for Advisers
Speaker
Introduction
Commonhold is a little-known form of property tenure, mainly for multi-unit buildings. The Government has recently released the Draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill 2026, in which they propose making commonhold the default tenure for new supply, making conversion of leasehold to commonhold easier and improving commonhold management.
This virtual classroom seminar takes a look at how commonhold disputes are dealt with under current laws. The session will also take a brief look at how disputes will change under the Bill in future, as currently drafted.
