Commonhold Buildings & Management - A Practical Guide for Advisers
Speaker
Introduction
Commonhold is a little-known form of property tenure, mainly for multi-unit buildings. The Government has recently released the Draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform 2026, in which they propose making commonhold the default tenure for new supply, making conversion of leasehold to commonhold easier and improving commonhold management.
This virtual classroom seminar takes a look at how commonhold buildings are managed under current laws, including how commonholds are financed. The session will also take a brief look at how management will change under the Bill in future, as currently drafted.
