Introduction

UK Regulators are expecting firms to continue strengthening and refining their frameworks based on the new rules which came into effect in 2022.

Although not all firms are in scope for the rules, regulators have expressed their view that other firms should consider the requirements as guidance and adopt best practices where they add value.

The rules required a series of interventions to be achieved by 1 March 2022, plus further testing, and refinement of these by 1 March 2025 at the latest.
