Tom Blandford

Chief Financial Officer, SurSum Advisory Limited. Tom has over 20 years of experience in professional services and law firms and specialises in providing strategic finance input to the legal profession. He has considerable expertise in strategic financial projects – most significantly law firm mergers and acquisitions. Tom trained originally with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and held positions at BDO, Deloitte UK, and Grant Thornton UK. More recently he was a partner in Armstrong Watson’s specialist Legal Sector team where he worked exclusively with legal clients and with hundreds of law firms. He is a previous committee member of the Association of Law Firm Merger Advisors, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Chartered Management Institute.
