Statutory Registers Under the Economic Crime & Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (‘ECCTA’)
Speaker
Introduction
If you are involved in advising companies in relation to compliance with the Companies Act 2006 (including the provision of company secretarial services), then this short virtual classroom seminar is for you.
The ECCTA has already radically changed the nature of the Companies House register and implemented widespread reforms relating to companies and LLPs (including identity verification for directors, people with significant control, controls surrounding registered email addresses and registered office addresses and additional requirements designed to improve the quality and information on the register at Companies House).
One of the additional changes is the abolition of the statutory registers (except for the register of members) together with the removal of the ability to elect to retain company registers on the central register at Companies House.
