Operational Resilience - Stress Test Your Impact Tolerances
Introduction
Operational resilience is now firmly embedded in the UK regulatory landscape, but the real test lies in a firm’s ability to evidence its impact tolerances under stress. Regulators expect firms not just to define important business services, but to demonstrate they can remain within their tolerance levels through disruption.
This immersive and highly interactive scenario exercise gives you the opportunity to test your firm’s resilience in practice. Working through a severe but plausible disruption scenario, participants will assess decision-making under pressure, identify control and communication gaps, and produce tangible evidence of tolerance testing. The session blends simulation, reflection, and regulatory insight to help firms enhance governance, documentation and supervisory readiness.
Attendees will be able to walk away with a sample impact tolerance testing log and debrief template; a checklist of regulatory ‘good practice’ indicators for evidence presentation; and practical guidance for embedding lessons into future testing cycles.
