Introduction

Under the Renters’ Rights Act (‘RRA’) 2025, Section 21 notices will no longer be an option to regain possession. It isn’t, however, a simple question of using the same old grounds under Schedule 2 of the Housing Act 1988. As a consequence of the RRA, there have been significant amendments and additions to grounds of possession as well as changes to pre-notice requirements.

In this virtual classroom seminar, we will be reviewing the new and amended grounds of possession under the RRA 2025, considering what’s changed, pre-notice requirements and sharing practical tips when preparing evidence.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive course will cover the following:

  • New and amended grounds of possession and notice periods under the RRA
  • What requirements will be in place before you serve a Section 8 notice
  • Practical tips when preparing evidence when relying on specific grounds of possession (arrears, disrepair and sale of the property)

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
