The introduction of the Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022 has significantly changed the way residential conveyancers must advise clients who are selling or buying a flat in an ‘in scope’ building. This is more so given that the changes are not yet complete and can change the advice even during the lifetime of a sale or purchase.
