Introduction

This virtual classroom session assumes no prior knowledge and begins by working through definitions around the use of generative AI, Large Language Models (‘LLMs’), blockchain, and smart contracts. We will be navigating the legal and regulatory compliance measures that need to be considered, as well as looking at examples of the deployment of AI and smart contracts across the legal profession.

The final part of this introductory session will look at likely future developments in the near term around the use of AI and smart contracts that we can expect to see in the next few years.
