A Practical Guide to Part 25 Applications in Children Act Proceedings for Family Lawyers
Introduction
Since Part 25 of the Family Procedure Rules 2010 was introduced in 2013, the instruction of experts in family proceedings has become a much scrutinised area of case management.
The aim of Part 25 is to reduce the number of expert witnesses and thereby streamline family proceedings in family courts in order to avoid unnecessary delays in concluding family law proceedings, and to reduce the cost to the public purse.
Careful preparation of such applications for expert assessment is crucial and the aim of this webinar is to highlight good practice and provide the necessary skills to maximise the prospects of success of applications for the use of experts in family proceedings.
Please note this webinar relates to Children Act Proceedings only.
