Holiday Pay & the Taylor Review - Get Ready for April
In the last few years several cases have hit the headlines regarding statutory holidays and pay deductions during employees’ holidays.
Following his review into modern working practices (Good Work: The Taylor Review into Modern Working Practices) Matthew Taylor suggested changes regarding the calculation of holiday pay incorporating recent decisions regarding regulation 13.
He also recommended stronger enforcement and awareness of employee rights to holiday entitlement and pay; making this a similar enforcement process currently used for the national minimum wage.
The government has accepted nearly all of Matthew Taylor’s recommendations and most of these changes will take effect from April 2020.
This live broadcast session will guide you through the changes and the methods of calculation.
