An Introduction to Bladder & Bowel Injury Claims - Live at Your Desk
This introductory level virtual classroom seminar will provide an insight into dealing with claims involving bladder and bowel injuries. By attending the live session you will learn about the anatomy of the bladder and bowel, medical conditions affecting both, common injuries related to surgery together with common injuries to both because of misdiagnosis and delay.
At the end of the live session you will be increasingly confident in identifying 'normal' anatomy - and be able to identify some of the more common 'negligence' claims relating to the bladder and bowel injury.
What You Will Learn
This live and interactive APIL accredited session will cover the following:
- Basic anatomy and physiology of both
- Common diseases
- Ways in which both can be injured (surgery/delay/misdiagnosis)
- Effects of injurious actions
- Case law examples
Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
