Joanne Wilkins

Joanne Wilkins is a Senior Associate in HFW’s Construction team. Joanne has over 10 years' experience advising on large infrastructure and engineering disputes both in the UK and internationally. She has particular experience in offshore construction, energy from waste and renewables. She has recently advised on a complex, high value offshore wind adjudication, which included delay and disruption claims as a result of late engineering documentation and weather events, as well as numerous variation claims for changes to foundation steelworks. Joanne also recently worked on a large arbitration on an energy from waste project, which included substantial defect and misrepresentation claims. Joanne is passionate about presenting clients claims in a clear and accessible format, which is invaluable in mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. She has significant experience producing complex visualisations to explain the technical elements of construction cases in a powerful and persuasive way.
