Joseph Nahal-Macdonald

Joseph is an accomplished lawyer, part-time Deputy District Judge, qualified lecturer and former senior prosecutor with extensive experience in complex litigation, economic crime, and international law. Following his appointment to the Council of Europe’s Economic Crime and Cooperation Division (ECCD), a panel of consultant experts in asset recovery and mutual legal assistance (MLA), he has contributed to legislative reviews and provided advisory and training support to international stakeholders, including judiciary, law enforcement, and policymakers.
