Jason Talbott

Compliance Manager at Buckles Solicitors LLP, Jason spent 22 years working in government, within HM Revenue & Customs, covering roles in Compliance & Audit, Anti-Smuggling Teams, Criminal and Financial Investigation, and Intelligence. More recently, he worked at The Insolvency Service Intelligence Team, where he was responsible for all Criminal Intelligence development and deployment for the agency, dealing with company fraud, Covid scheme abuse, and sanctions work, and enhancing capability and skillsets. Jason has a broad understanding, skillset, and operational experience in various fraud typologies and money laundering methodologies across multiple countries and high-risk jurisdictions. He is also passionate about Open-Source Intelligence and its role in protecting his employer, colleagues, and clients alike.
