Barrister, Ten Old Square. James has a broad Chancery practice that spans wills, trusts and estates; partnerships and LLPs; and tax. His practice includes both contentious and non-contentious work, and he has experience of advising a wide range of executors, trustees, beneficiaries and others in relation to wills, trusts and tax. James also regularly appears in both the High Court and the County Court in claims relating to the administration of trusts and estates. He has also appeared as junior counsel for HMRC in a series of complex LLP tax avoidance appeals in the First-tier Tribunal.
