Katherine Doran

Katherine is a specialist construction lawyer in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team at TLT. She is an accredited specialist in construction law by Law Society of Scotland and has particular expertise in renewables, heavy engineering and infrastructure. Katherine specialises in project advice, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution. She has extensive experience in all aspects of dispute resolution, including arbitration, adjudication, litigation and mediation on international and domestic projects. She is a keen advocate of dispute avoidance and ADR. Katherine also provides front end assistance, advising on, drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, specialist subcontracts and security documents. She is regularly instructed on a range of matters including infrastructure, renewables, process plant, commercial and residential developments. Early in her career, Katherine have spent time on site on international projects, providing strategic advice to clients and helping to resolve disputes.
