Working as Part of a Team - Avoiding the Common Mistakes
Introduction
Over the past few years teams have become more complicated. Some teams remain fully remote, whereas others have adopted a hybrid approach which offers fantastic flexibility but does mean that everyone being together in the same physical space is less common. So, how do we build teams in that environment, and keep everything running smoothly?
This webinar will explore the different attributes each person brings to the team and how that impacts the way you all work together. It will also take a look at the top things that trip up hybrid teams and how you can avoid the most common mistakes.
What You Will Learn
Using Belbin’s ‘Team Roles’ model this webinar will cover the following:
- Identify and understand your own preferred team role
- Recognise the strengths and allowable weaknesses of your preferred role
- Identify the natural preferences of those around you
- Review how hybrid working impacts on the team dynamic
- Demonstrate where the natural preferences work well together and where they occasionally clash
- Offer pragmatic solutions to working with the different team types
- Understand the key obstacles facing remote/hybrid teams and what to do about them
- Enable you to put together an action plan for using this information and working together more effectively as a team
This pre-recorded webinar will be streamed at 12:30pm on Thursday 22nd August 2024 and will remain available to view by delegates who have registered by then for 90 days.
