Introduction

Many women are highly capable, committed and ambitious, yet find themselves questioning whether they are ready, visible enough or approaching workplace situations in the ‘right’ way.

Women at Work is a practical, empowering series of seven bite-sized webinars designed to help professional women better understand themselves, recognise the value they already bring and become more intentional about how they communicate, contribute and progress.

Presented by leadership trainer and coach Rachael Sullivan, the series combines evidence-based psychology with honest stories from her 20 years of corporate and leadership experience. Rachael shares the successes, mistakes and moments of self-doubt that have shaped her own career, creating a learning experience that feels relatable and insightful.

Each bitesize module offers a simple idea, practical tools and reflective questions that women can immediately apply to their own roles. The emphasis is not on becoming louder, tougher or more like somebody else. It is about developing the confidence and self-awareness to work and lead in a way that feels credible, effective and authentically your own.

By the end of the series, delegates will have greater clarity about their strengths, their professional identity and the small actions they can take to increase their confidence, visibility, influence and wellbeing.

What You Will Learn

This webinar will cover the following:

Module 1 - Confidence and Presence for Professional Women

Explore what confidence really looks like and why it does not always mean feeling certain or being the loudest person in the room. Delegates will consider how their body language, mindset and everyday behaviour shape the impact they have on others.

Module 2 - Managing Self-Doubt and Imposter Feelings

Understand why capable people can still question whether they belong or deserve their success. Rachael will share practical ways to challenge unhelpful internal narratives, reconnect with evidence of capability and act before complete confidence arrives.

Module 3 - Building Your Professional Visibility

Being excellent at your job does not automatically mean your contribution will be recognised. This module explores how to communicate your value, build meaningful relationships and become more visible without feeling as though you are boasting or performing.

Module 4 - Strategic Communication for Women

Learn how to communicate with greater clarity, influence and judgement. Delegates will explore when to speak, when to ask, when to pause and how to adapt their approach without losing their natural style. The session also considers the importance of timing, restraint and understanding how decisions are really made - particularly as women move into more senior roles.

Module 5 - Handling Difficult Workplace Dynamics

Explore why certain people or situations trigger strong reactions and how unhelpful relationship patterns can develop. Delegates will learn how to move away from rescuing, blaming or withdrawing and respond with greater clarity, boundaries and personal responsibility.

Module 6 - Career Progression and Leadership Identity

The behaviours that accelerate a career early on are not always the ones that sustain it at senior levels. This module explores the shift from being known as a reliable ‘doer’ to developing the judgement, patience, influence and political literacy required to lead in greater complexity. Participants will consider what they want to be known for, where they may be prioritising speed over depth, and which relationships, experiences and opportunities will help them build a sustainable leadership identity.

Module 7 - Resilience and Wellbeing for High-Performing Women

High performance should not require constant depletion. Participants will learn to recognise the differences between healthy pressure, overwhelm and burnout, identify their own warning signs and make practical choices that support sustainable performance.
