This webinar sets out to clarify the meaning of ‘Existing Use Value for Social Housing’ (EUV-SH) as a basis for the valuation of Registered Providers’ property assets. EUV-SH is in its third decade as the capital value benchmark for affordable housing, giving lenders a guide for capital cover, and RPs an insight into relative performance of their assets as well as a framework for strategic investment decision-making.

The webinar will consider the origins of the basis, its development over time and how housing portfolio transactions have influenced its calculation. Viewers will gain a detailed overview of the uses to which EUV-SH can be put, and the essential methodologies that determine it.
