Introduction

There has never been a more important time to understand trade unions. Not only has there been an increase in high profile, and disruptive, industrial action in recent times, we are also going to see significant changes when the Employment Rights Bill comes into force.

The Employment Rights Bill contains changes to legislation relating to trade unions and industrial action. However, it is unlikely this will come into force until the Autumn of 2026, so we also need to understand the current law.

In this virtual classroom seminar we will explore the law as it currently stands, and what the future holds.
