Introduction

In October 2024 new legislation (Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023) was introduced, requiring employers to take reasonable steps to stop harassment of a sexual nature from occurring in the workplace. This is an amendment to the Equality Act 2010, which already made harassment unlawful.

Now that we have had this legislation in place for some time, there has been greater clarity on what is meant by reasonable steps.

This webinar will reflect on what we have learnt so far, and what steps employers should be taking. It will also reflect on the additional changes that will be introduced by the Employment Rights Bill.
