Recognising & Responding to Neurodivergence in Family Law: A Practical Guide
Speaker
Introduction
Around 1 in 5 people are thought to be neurodivergent. It is vital that all family lawyers and family dispute resolution professionals have the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to issues of neurodivergence so that they are properly able to meet the needs of neurodivergent children, adults and families.
Although awareness of neurodivergence is increasing, a significant level of misunderstanding persists and many family practitioners have not been given the skills or training to enable them to fully support neurodivergent clients, nor to effectively navigate issues of neurodivergence when they arise.
This webinar will equip you to identify and deal with issues of neurodivergence and practice in a way that holistically meets the needs of your clients. It will also provide key knowledge and insights and look at practical steps you can take to ensure that you are working in a neuro-informed way.
