Introduction

There have been substantial amendments to the 1986 Act where protest cases are concerned over the last two years. On top of that the government enacted the Public Order Act 2023 last year and parts have come in over last summer and in December 2023.

This webinar is ideal for anyone prosecuting or defending protest cases whether it is a full blown demonstration in central London or a one-man protest about something near you. The most reserved of people are now willing to demonstrate whether it is over polluted beaches or perceived unethical goods on sale.
