MiFID II - An Advanced Overview for UK Firms
Introduction
The international regulation of participants in the financial services industry has evolved over the last number of years. Since Brexit, the key issues for UK firms have been the same as for any other third-country firm - how can clients in EU member states be serviced and how can potential clients be approached and onboarded.
This webinar will recap the scope of MiFID and its interaction with other single market measures - for example, AIFMD, EMIR and CRD VI. It will be a refreshing overview of the requirements with some pragmatic tips and commentary on how the industry does and should deal with a regulatory landscape which is not entirely harmonised across the EU. The webinar will also touch on some of the practical difficulties with MiFID issues in terms of how they are approached and dealt with in practice.
This webinar is aimed at professionals and others involved in the provision of financial services in the non-retail market primarily.
