Managing Data Protection Complaints Under DUAA 2025 - Preparing for June 2026
Speaker
Introduction
In this live virtual classroom seminar, expert speaker Robert Bond will explain the new complaints-handling requirements introduced by the Data Use and Access Act 2025 (DUAA 2025).
From June 2026, organisations will be legally required to:
- Provide individuals with a clear way to submit data protection complaints
- Take appropriate steps to investigate and respond without undue delay
- Keep complainants informed throughout the process
Although these requirements do not take effect until June 2026, organisations should begin preparing now to ensure policies, processes, and staff training are in place.
This session is ideal for data protection officers, compliance professionals, legal teams and anyone responsible for handling personal data or responding to regulatory risk.
What You Will Learn
This live and interactive session will cover the following:

- Training staff who handle complaints to ensure consistency, fairness and compliance with statutory duties
