Leading Through Crisis & Uncertainty - Clarity, Confidence & Better Decision Making
Speaker
Introduction
Senior leaders are increasingly required to make high-stakes decisions without complete information. AI and technological disruption, cyber threats, climate-related events, reputational issues and wider organisational crises can all create situations where the normal rules no longer apply.
In these moments, people look to leaders for clarity and direction. This virtual classroom seminar explores what happens to leaders, teams and organisations when uncertainty and pressure rise. Delegates will examine how threat can narrow thinking and influence leadership behaviour; how different people respond to uncertainty and how leaders can remain curious and open to challenge while still providing decisive direction.
Delegates will explore practical approaches for leading through uncertainty, communicating when they do not yet have all the answers, reducing unnecessary fear and threat and making better decisions at pace. The focus throughout is on real Board-level application: what to do, what to say, what not to say and how to create confidence without creating false certainty.
