Higher Risk Residential Buildings & Construction - The New Regime

Introduction

The Building Safety Act 2022 and secondary legislation creates a new regulatory regime for high-rise residential buildings in England ('Higher-Risk Buildings'), covering all stages of their design, construction, major refurbishment, and occupation.

Most of the new regulatory regime is now in force, placing new obligations on clients, landlords, managing agents, contractors and professional teams working on Higher-Risk Buildings and onerous penalties for failure to comply with the new rules.

This virtual classroom seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the regime for new Higher-Risk Buildings, from their initial design and construction through to their occupation stage.
