Equitable Remedies in Partnerships & Beyond
Introduction
In this webinar, Partnership specialist Paul Bennett will introduce, in a practical sense, the equitable principles that arise in practice. For Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships there is often a need to think beyond the contractual duties and into both professional duties and equitable principles. This session will cover the equitable aspects.
From this session you will gain an understanding of the basic equitable framework and how to spot such issues so that you can raise them either with clients in a noncontentious sense or in the course of correspondence or pleadings in a contentious setting.
This is an advanced session for non-contentious lawyers and litigators. It will presuppose an existing working knowledge of both Partnership and Limited Liability Partnership law. It will be helpful to litigators and non-contentious professionals alike in addressing client issues.
