Employment Rights Act 2025 - What is Changing in October 2026 & Beyond

Introduction

The Employment Rights Act 2025 is gradually coming into force through 2026 and 2027. We had one small change that happened when the Act received Royal Assent, and then more changes on 18 February 2026 and then in April 2026. The next big group of changes is in October 2026.

In this Learn Live we will start by looking at what has already changed. We will then do a 'deeper dive' into the changes in October 2026, making sure that you are ready for the changes. Finally, we will look to the future and what is changing in 2027.
