Data Protection & the UK GDPR - Compliance for DPOs & COLPs
Introduction
On the 25 May 2024 the Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR will be six years old.
You will have been preparing for that day for a long time - introducing privacy notices, thinking about someone to take the DPO role, ensuring staff were trained and worrying about the new fines. It was a big project for lots of firms to work on.
No doubt, at the time, you had a large ‘to do’ list or a project plan to work to.
How far did you get? Were all the tasks completed? Has the list been put away and forgotten about?
This seminar will examine the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR and look at what you should have in place to ensure you are compliant. The seminar will go back in time to refresh you on what was required and where we are now.
Is there more work to do?
So, dig out that ‘to do’ list or project plan and let’s get everything completed.
