Introduction
Organisations of all sizes are adopting 'cloud first' strategies in order to benefit from the cost savings of using public cloud infrastructure and the opportunity to use best-in-class SaaS solutions for specific business functions.
This can often involve integrations of multiple different services as part of a solution, creating a complex IT environment. On top of this, the change cycles of third-party cloud providers make change management an ongoing part of life rather than a specific project, with a clearly defined end.
The aim of this virtual classroom seminar is to provide practical tips on what in-house counsel as well as IT procurement and contract management professionals can do to mitigate risks arising from complex cloud first IT projects in multi-vendor environments, including contractual considerations at the outset and practical mitigations through the project lifecycle.
