An Introduction to the Consumer Duty
Introduction
This course is designed for individuals looking to get a basic understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Consumer Duty.
The Consumer Duty is the single biggest regulatory change in recent history, requiring firms to completely review their approach to their products and services. Whilst the regulator has issued rules in PRIN 2A and Final Guidance on the subject, there have been many questions over the detail of the requirements. Some of which have been answered by the FCA, in the form of multi-firm reviews.
This new virtual classroom is hosted by Robert Bell, a compliance consultant who will draw on all his experience to help give you the best understanding of the duty, its requirements and, practically, how to comply.
This session is ideal for frontline staff, compliance officers, operations teams, and anyone who needs a foundational understanding of the Consumer Duty and what it means in day-to-day business.
