An A-Z of Clinical Negligence - From Initial Instructions to Settlement
Introduction
There is a difference between clinical negligence and personal injury work which isn’t fully recognised by all courts, particularly at the more modest quantum levels. Investigation and review of breach and causation can be as difficult in a case worth £25,000 as a catastrophic injury claim.
This virtual classroom seminar aims to address the specific challenges in a clinical negligence claim. This includes dealing with obtaining proper disclosure of medical records, identifying the correct defendant, the complexity of breach and causation plus instructing the proper expert to address the specific issues of the case.
This live session is aimed at junior practitioners who are developing clinical negligence practices with the aim of addressing the issues which separate this often complex area of law from other damages claims.
