Introduction

Ordnance Survey maps are an everyday part of our professional lives. Whether we are surveyors, architects or property lawyers, we rely heavily upon Ordnance Survey mapping. Even driving into work using satnav or walking around the streets of a city using our smart-phones, we are using Ordnance Survey data.

The aim of this virtual classroom seminar is to give attendees a thorough knowledge of the information that can be found on Ordnance Survey maps and digital data, an appreciation of accuracy limitations and an understanding of the different mapping scales.
