This is a highly practical and interactive live broadcast session and is designed to bring all those involved in audit and assurance work in the UK, fully up to speed with the latest developments.

The 3 hour session is designed to cover all the important, topical issues and regulatory changes that you need to be aware of.

The main focus will be on the audit of SMEs and other entities that are not Public Interest Entities including qualifying ‘small’ companies that are audit exempt.

What You Will Learn

This interactive course will cover the following:

  • The contents and requirements of any new technical information issued by regulators such as the FRC, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI and ACCA - including updated and revised ISAs and Practice Notes
  • The current key issues arising from inspection visits of auditors performed by professional bodies and also the FRC
  • Key audit issues arising from changes in financial reporting requirements including changes to FRS and company law
  • The emerging best practice by looking at how other firms are responding to changing requirements
  • The required record keeping and procedural responsibilities that are imposed on the auditor

Recording of live sessions: Soon after the Learn Live session has taken place you will be able to go back and access the recording - should you wish to revisit the material discussed.
