Introduction

Fraud is back in the spotlight with the NCA, HMRC and police investigating those who were not legally entitled to Government support during the pandemic.

This virtual classroom seminar is aimed at those with a working understanding of the Fraud Act and will ask if the Act is still working and how practitioners can make the most of it. It will also include a recent Court of Appeal interpretation of s4 Fraud Act.

Where the Police, Crime, Sentencing & Courts Act 2022 or the Judicial Review & Courts Act 2022 have implemented changes to legislation, the course will include these updates where relevant to subject matter.

Now updated to include changes to the Criminal Procedure Rules and the Criminal Practice Directions 2023.
