Introduction

This introductory level virtual classroom session will discuss the applications for permission to act as a director despite disqualification under s17 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 (CDDA 1986).

It will explore what factors may be taken into account by the court when deciding whether to allow leave or not to include the jurisdiction, parties and the application procedure and the conditions that might be imposed by the court.
