During the life of a business, inevitably there will be circumstances in which there may be a complaint about your activities and/or a breach of data protection. In such situations it is imperative that your organisation understands how to effectively communicate with regulators such as the Information Commissioners Office.

The areas to be considered will include complaints from members of the public, subject access requests, marketing complaints and data breaches.

The session will also consider, how as a result of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, the nature of enforcement and investigations may change and how to go about having constructive conversations with regulators.
