Introduction
The Building Safety Act has changed the legal landscape and introduced liabilities for developers on both existing sites with historic safety problems and new builds. Targeted at reducing the risk of fire and/or structural collapse of higher-risk buildings, the Act brings into force changes to industry practice and opening up to tenants the possibility of claims going back for 30 years.
This webinar will look at the key provisions of the Act and how they affect developers of residential buildings, including registered providers.
This webinar is only relevant for sites in England.
