Introduction
This virtual classroom seminar will consider the statutory nuisance regime under Part III of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, with a focus on the law and procedure around abatement notices.
There are many ways in which a ‘nuisance’ can impact on daily lives and the session will consider some of the more common nuisance issues around anti-social behaviour in a residential environment.
Attendees will receive practical advice and tips about how to address nuisance behaviour and the specific requirements that they will need to consider in light of R (on the Application of Fisher) v Durham County Council which considered disability discrimination and issues arising under the Equality Act 2010.
