Residential Tenants & Rights of Pre-Emption - A Guide to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
The sale or lease of an interest in or affecting a building within the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, Part 1, must first be offered to the residential tenants - failure to do so is a criminal offence and the tenants have rights to take any such disposal from the purchaser for the price the purchaser paid.
This introductory half-day course provides a practical and concise overview of the residential tenants' rights - outlining what landlords, tenants and purchasers should do to comply with the Act - and exercise rights under it.
