Mental Health First Aid - A Guide to Employer Obligations Live at Your Desk
For many years health and work-related absences meant physical illnesses. However, there has been a significant shift recently towards an acknowledgement that poor mental health was the most common cause of long-term sickness absences from staff in UK workplaces. The importance of mental health and the impact which it has on our working lives is now widely recognised.
This live broadcast session will inform managers how to recognise signs of ill health and provide appropriate support as well as understanding the legal obligations employers have under the Equality Act.
