The Pre Inquest Review Hearing at an inquest allows for effective time management, permits the coroner to ensure that the disclosure process has taken place and allows the final inquest to run smoothly with minimal delays.

It also allows the coroner to be aware of issues or themes which may be of concern to interested persons and provides an opportunity to get the evidence in order and for all interested persons to take stock.
