Guardianship for Missing Persons - A Live Guide for Private Client Practitioners
Introduction
The Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act creates a new legal framework in relation to the management of the property and financial affairs of missing persons. Prior to the introduction of the Act, there were no formal arrangements in place to deal with such circumstances.
This new virtual classroom seminar will cover the statutory framework under the Act and the accompanying code of practice.
It is aimed at private client practitioners, particularly those with less experience of making applications to the High Court and Court of Protection or acting as a professional deputy.
